In my research, I focus on pioneering multidisciplinary approaches to explore the thermal state of the lithosphere and its connections to Earth’s interior dynamics and surface processes. This includes studying sedimentary basin dynamics, lithospheric deformation, multiphase heat-mass transfer, and integrating GPS measurements, satellite data, and seismic data.
My interests also include developing numerical codes for thermo-mechanical modeling of Earth dynamics and surface processes, accounting for nonlinear viscoelasticity, magma transport, surface erosion, fluid filtration, and free surfaces.
