Associate Professor (1979-1984), Professor Titular (1985-2007) and Full Professor (2008-present) at the University of Zaragoza, Spain.

Modelling of Earth Structures by Wide-angle Seismic Profiling and Surface Wave Dispersion, Forward and Inverse Modelling, Elastic, Anelastic and Anisotropic Media, Near-Surface Seismic Velocity Modelling, Seismic Tomography, 3-D Imaging of Earth Structures on Different Scales, Simulation of Seismic Wave Fields, Fractal Properties of the Seismicity.
Publications (papers): Over 155 full-length papers, most of them published in international scientific journals and some in proceedings of international meetings: about 100 of them are SCI papers.
