Professor Théophile NDOUGSA MBARGA, is a Full Professor of Universities. He is an Extractive Industry Sector Expert/Consultant with the PASIE (Extractive Industries Monitoring Project in French-speaking Africa) funded by Global Affairs Canada whose executing agency is Cowater-Sogema, Commissioner at ISA (International Seabed Authority, United Nations), International Consultant to ECA (Economic Commission for Africa, United Nations), Affiliate Member (Competent Person, P.Geo) of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy Engineers (AusIMM), and Former Director of Geology from the Ministry of Mines, Industry and Technological Development of Came-roon. Professor Théophile NDOUGSA MBARGA is also Sworn Inspector (Judicial Police Officer with special skills at the Yaoundé courts) of the classified installations unhealthy and inconvenient mines and industrial. He holds a PhD in Exploration Geophysics, Mining Economics degree and an Engineering degree in Oil and Gas Operations and contracts Negotiations. He has extensive experience (23 years) in the field of setting up and auditing techno-economic studies of mining and gas projects, monitoring and evaluation of mining and oil exploration activities, negotiation of mining contracts and the development and implementation of mineral sector policies and legal frameworks at both national and international levels. He has published to date several dozens of articles in journals with impact factor, focusing on applied geosciences to mineral and oil exploration, planning, economics and mining. He also acted as contributor or principal investigator in published Extractive Industry reports.
